SEASON 101 DIRECTORS WANTED
CALLING ALL DIRECTORS!
Birmingham Village Players is seeking talented individuals who are interested in directing one of the potential shows listed below for our 2023-24 season. If you are interested, we want to hear from you. Let your skills shine during our 101st season! Five (5) shows will be selected from the following list:
- Memphis (Musical)
- The Prom (Musical)
- Cemetery Club (Comedy)
- Mousetrap (Murder Mystery)
- Grey Gardens (Musical)
- Jersey Boys (Musical)
- Once on this Island (Musical)
- Fences (Drama)
- The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Musical)
If you are interested in directing a production during Season 101, please complete the following steps:
- Complete the director application and email it to Greg Ruvolo by 5 p.m. on Sunday, January 8, 2023.
- Sign up for a director presentation time slot here. This is a 15-minute presentation per director/per show title. Time slots will consist of up to a 10-minute presentation and 5-minutes for Q & A.
Director presentations will take place on Sunday, January 15, 2023, at the Playhouse and run from 4:30 pm to 9:45 pm.
Please note we currently require all cast and crew, including directors, to be up to date with COVID vaccinations. You may be required to show proof of vaccination if you haven’t already done so for a previous production.
