Volunteering @ BVP

Membership has its benefits! Volunteer to be an Usher, House Manager, Bartender (21+), 50/50 Lead, or working the Box Office.

Please consider these responsibilities before you sign up for a position:

All volunteers should arrive at least one hour prior to show time and check in with the House Manager.

Volunteer roles and times are as follows:

• House Manager*
  7 p.m. – End of show (Friday/Saturday) or 1 p.m. – End of show (Sundays)
  *Prior house manager or usher experience is required for this position.
  *The House Manager must remain in the lobby for the duration of the performance to handle any issues that may arise.
   
• Assistant House Manager*
  7 p.m. – End of show (Friday/Saturday) or 1 p.m. – End of show (Sundays)
  *The House Manager will train the Assistant House Manager on specific duties. Once trained, the Assistant House Manager is eligible to sign up to be House Manager for future shows.
  *Assistant House Manager must remain in the lobby with the House Manager for the duration of the performance.
  
• Box Office Lead*
  7 – 8:15 p.m. (Friday/Saturday) or 1 – 2:15 p.m. (Sundays)
  *Training or prior experience is required for this position.
   
• Box Office Assistant
  7 – 8:15 p.m. (Friday/Saturday) or 1 – 2:15 p.m. (Sundays)
   
• 50/50 Lead
  7 p.m. – End of intermission (Friday/Saturday) or 1 p.m. – End of intermission (Sundays)
   
• Bartender*
  7 p.m. – End of intermission (Friday/Saturday)
  *Must be 21 or older
   
• Usher
  7 p.m. – End of show (Friday/Saturday) or 1 p.m. – End of show (Sundays)
